Then we found Laurie... We spent time with Laurie explaining exactly what we didn't want, in our case a traditional wedding, And shared our ideas on what we would like our wedding day to look like... Whilst most of our friends thought a wedding planner was extravagant we didn't agree.... If you're on a budget Laurie shops around..... If your more flexible she's good at spending your money, but wisely. Our day was perfect... We didn't need to worry about entertainment, flower's, bills, etc....All the planning and organising was taken care of.Not only did Laurie make our day special, she has such a great personal touch and is so relaxed in her approach understanding how stressful a wedding can be, she's become a personal friend who we plan to keep in touch with. (Package booked = Fully planned wedding co-ordination) Mr + Mrs Steven Breeze, Married at Lumley Castle, Chester-le-St, 9th June 2006 I thought it would be novel to share with you how I planned my own wedding! After 4 years together myself and Steven married at one of the top venues in the North East "Lumley Castle" Our day was perfect...I now know what it's like to be a stressed bride... The week before our wedding was hectic, even when you're a wedding planner there is no getting away from all the last minute preparations, and the stress levels that go hand in hand with planning your own wedding... The theme of our wedding day was elegant and very much in keeping with the castle. We chose a few quirky touches to make our day truly individual... I named each table to do with knights and medieval times (to name just one unique touch) After a year of planning our day, with out blowing my own trumpet, everything ran to perfection.
